We are women hear us roar used to be one of the sayings of the feminist movement. Well while we aren't doing anying quite so drastic we are going to try in this section to help you find the power in yourself to do all those nasty little chores around the house that your husband usually does but for some reason (deployment, etc.) can't do for you now!! We are women and we've conquered everything else put before us but how many of us still can't kill a spider or change our own oil? If you are wonder woman and already do all of these things then we at MCFN applaud you. I, though, will be the first to admit that I don't do half of the things on this list and I know (Shhhh its a secret) that my partner doesn't either. I have been guilty of running next door to get my neighbors husband to kill a wasp for me or having my dad talk me through changing a fuse over the internet. Here you will find a resource of suggestions of how to handle things that may come up on your own. We are not professionals so please do not take this advice or these tips as if they are from one. They are suggestions on the part of other wives and their husbands on how to do everything from checking and changing your own oil, to unclogging your sink and changing a fuse. If your are unsure of the suggestion or a suggestion does not work then PLEASE consult a professional or at least the husband next door.
The following are some of the items we'll be covering in ROAR! Please let us know if you find there is another area you feel should be covered.
